The Rivercrest CDD Swimming Pool Policies & Procedures
1. The swimming pool facilities are open from ½ hour after dawn and will close respectively at:
9:00 P.M between April 1st until September 30th
7:30 P.M. between October 1st until May 31st
When issued, resident identification cards must be readily available to District
staff when using the pool facilities.
Each household may bring up to five guests for use of the pool facilities but
must accompany their guests at all times.
Lifeguards will not be present at the pool facilities. All persons using the
pool and other Swim Club facilities do so at their own risk.
Children under the age of twelve must be accompanied by an adult at all times
while using the pool facilities.
Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children do not urinate
or defecate in the pool. (Rubber briefs should be placed over diapers of infants
and very small children.)
All persons using the pool facilities shall obey the
capacity requirements as defined by Hillsborough County.
Proper swimming attire must be worn while using the pool facilities. (Bathing
suits only)
Showering is mandatory before use of the pool facilities.
No running is allowed in the pool facilities.
No diving is allowed.
No flotation devices are allowed in the pool except for water wings used
by small children.
No rough housing or chicken fighting is allowed in the swimming pool.
No balls or toys should be thrown within the pool or pool area.
No running is allowed on the pool deck.
No animals are allowed in the pool facilities.
No food or drink is allowed within ten feet of the pool area.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the pool facilities.
No glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
Radios brought to the pool shall be kept at reasonable volumes in consideration
of others using the pool facilities.
Pool furniture shall not be removed from the pool deck area or placed into the
swimming pool.
Belongings left in the pool facilities after dusk shall be placed in the
clubhouse’s “Lost & Found” for
a period of one week. If the item(s) are not claimed, they will be discarded.
Call 911 in the event of an emergency.
Pool policies including hours of operation may be change from time to
time at the discretion of the District’s Board of Supervisors.
